Used with my d50 and d90 camera's-----small, easy to use and very effective. Attach it to the neck strap and you will always have it with you and it won't get lost. My only regret is not buying one sooner.
The Nikon ML-L3 wireless remote [ASIN:B00007EDZG Nikon ML-L3 Wireless Remote Control for Nikon D40, D40x, D60, D80 & D90 Digital SLR Cameras] is so easy to use and very useful for the slow shutter speed pictures I take. It is also helpful for a person such as myself who has hand tremors that make pusing a shutter button without shaking the camera almost impossible. For the cost I wouldn't be without my Nikon ML-L3 remote.
with this remote control, which hardly takes up any space in the bag, allows you to be in the picture and also keeps the camera still while shooting.
So I wonder if this product is really from Nikon. When I received the remote, I was deeply disappointed at the fit and finish of the product. I chose this over other non-oem brand thinking I'd get a true OEM. Also, the range isn't so great on the remote. The perceivable quality is no different from those cheaper alternatives other than the "Nikon" stamp even that didn't look like the normal Nikon logo. The print is little awkward, almost counterfeit level. Maybe it came with a worn battery, I'm not sure. I'm having hard time triggering from the back of the camera.
Rarely do you find a product so simple, yet so useful. It just works. Love it.
